Making Cornflake Candy

My husband loves this stuff...his Nana made it for him. Of course, this is not what she called it, but it is what it is...  :)

So easy peasy - 1 cup of corn syrup, 1 cup of sugar, 1 cup of peanut butter, 6 cups of corn flakes...flakes of sweet goodness...lots and lots of calories. :)

Heat the sugar and syrup together and mix well. When this comes to a slow boil, mix in the peanut butter. Stir well.

While the mixture is hot, mix in the corn
flakes.

Turn the candy out into small pieces by the spoonful onto wax paper to cool. After it is cooled, store in an airtight container.
