Juicing

Day 2-
did not sleep well last night, as usual...
mind was very alert and not sleepy or foggy throughout the night...
finally took a melatonin and went back to bed...up by 10...juiced for breakfast...
juice this morning consisted of part of cucumber, part of apple, sunflower seeds, romaine, handful of grape tomatoes, handful of raisins...juice was BLAND this morning...
migraine trying to attach itself this morning...not grumpy...don't feel normal morning lethargy...
i got hungry again shortly after noon and made the second shake of the day. the second shake contained: handful of sunflower seeds, handful of peanuts, romaine, rest of cucumber, slice of apple, handful of cherries, 4 grape tomatoes, splash of agave...
second juice was still slightly bland, but doable...i also have had two large cups of coffee...feeling slightly dizzy now...getting grumpy...still am tired...
3rd juice blend by mid-afternoon...hoping to keep at bay the mid-afternoon cravings that occur and to help prepare for a light dinner tonight...
3rd juice blend contained romaine, remainder of apple from earlier in day, 1/3 of lemon left from yesterday, 4 of 5 grape tomatoes, parsley, tsp of agave, splash of grape juice...
dinner tonight consisted of marinated cubed steak, steamed cauliflower, corn, green beans...

I juiced through day 3 - though my one meal did consist of a dinner out...which I really over did. I juiced and ate egg drop soup through day 4 (and one bite of brownie at a homeschool meeting.  SShhhhh!!). Today is day 5 of partial juicing. My younger son had minor surgery yesterday and can only eat bland and soft for a week. So, he was the reason for the egg drop soup yesterday. It was his one meal request. Today was more juicing and a small helping of chicken salad and crackers for my meal. Homemade chicken salad is Gooooooddd!!  At the allergist today, I had lost three pounds on their scale. I cannot see this or feel it in my clothes. I am not doing this for weight loss, but or health reasons. Although, this is an interesting side effect.
