One Thousand Gifts (of mine)...

Back in September, I read book called One Thousand Gifts. I have been thinking often lately about trying to do this exercise. I think it will be easy in the beginning...I think it will be difficult to come up with 1000 that do not repeat. So, I am going to try. Obviously, this will not be done all in one sitting...(Aren't you glad?)

Yes, I am taking pause here. People will wonder about that last one. I am thankful for crows that alert my roosters that there is a hawk nearby. I am thankful for crows who are so territorial that they protect my flock from other predatory birds. I am thankful for crows who do not try to make my chickens birds of prey.
